“One should never linger on one word too long; for it will soon become bored and leave.”
It seems I haven’t posted in a while. Writer’s block? Not exactly…more something of a lack of subject. Such a thing still remains just out of my grasp. Let me just proclaim a couple of things for now; your mind’s thirst for an update needs quenching of some sort.
I’d first like to rant about people’s abuse of the world’s excitement revolving around the new Harry Potter book. Firstly; if you’re one to even seek spoilers, you’re not worthy of such a masterpiece. Secondly; Anything you find on the web as this current time has been confirmed as lies. Anybody spreading such lies are automatically on my hate list; both for lying and for attempting to spoil a great book before anybody has the chance to read it for themselves. And we’ve all heard of this Philippine fan girl who went so far as to hang herself over a fake copy of the book available on the Internet; giving Harry and his friends all a gruesome end. Stop this nonsense or I’ll have to beat you.
On a side note; I’m currently working on a book. The plot is still fuzzy and I can’t predict it’s length as of yet; but I can tell you that I will be writing both plain text as well as a graphic novel and probably publish on the Internet for all you blokes for free.
“The things anybody can hear, but nobody bothers to- this is what we call white noise.”
“What are you doing right now?” Ah, yes; reading, of course! Did you know that wars are still persisting? You do. Did you know that children in third world countries are starving? You always have; those commercials on TV won’t let you know otherwise. Maybe you know what your friends are up to, too…
But what’s Bob from Toronto up to? I don’t know either. Okay, maybe you do- in which case a better question would be; “Is there a fly in Stuart Little’s cat bowl right now?” There’s something you can’t answer. It seems people insist on sucking up all the information they possibly can about what goes on with the people closest to them; and there are some things people just know- like the starving kids on the other side of the world. But surely you wouldn’t be able to answer if somebody asked you what Bilimsel from Istanbul is doing. For a matter of fact, he says he’s currently; ‘ufuğun kolundaki kılları yaktıktan sonra bir depar attım, kendime inanamadım, evet 25 yaşındayım (100 binlik arabam yok)’. And no, I can’t translate. That’s a little out there, no? Okay; let’s try something a little closer to home- How about (random citizen) from 2 blocks down? Maybe you don’t even know their name! Look out the window; any passersby? Do you know them; do you know what they’re doing? How about this; You can’t tell me what Sheryl from Spain, or what Kari from Brazil were doing yesterday. I know; but I can’t tell you what’s up with them today >.>
“Why on earth would I need to know these things!?” Well; nobody would need to, but can’t you admit that you’re interested to some extent? Most people use the internet to communicate with people they already know, or to find out stuff they absolutely must know. What I see in this internet is an enormous BLOB of people from all over the world. Who can resist mingling with such a crowd? Everybody’s going to be different here. I’M REALLY HUNGRY RIGHT NOW SOMEBODY FEED ME!!!! Heh…anyway; I was saying! I’m rather shy IRL, but when I get going on forums, MMO’s, etc. I’m a social butterfly! mom’s crazy she already packed up all our food for the move… Okay; let me get straight to it before my stomach eats itself- Check out Twitter.com if you’re interested in what the world’s doing- or if you just sick of people saying ‘nothing’ every time you ask them ‘what’s up?’ on MSN. (No, really- those situations destroy the use of MSN and everybody does it)
Double post today! And in case you’re wondering; this was originally going to be a review for Twitter but as you can see it quickly became some rather random blurp.
Sheryl- sometime after lunch she exclaimed on Twitterfaces “I’m either stuffed full of curry or about to have a little Indian baby”
Kari- She was playing Metin 2, attempting and mostly failing to communicate with English me. She also insisted on trying to attack mobs of much higher level than herself T.T
Kate: I sent you pictures of my new glasses- don’t you just love ‘em!?
Alphadingo: But they don’t suit you?
Kate: Is that a question?
Alphadingo: A statement, actually. My misuse of the question mark is noticed quite often.
Kate: I don’t get it o.O
Alphadingo: In this context the question mark is indicating inquiry of the statement previous.
Kate: English please?
Alphadingo: I’m confused as to why you’ve been so excited about getting these glasses when they don’t suit you.
Kate: They looked good by them self… wait; is that a real context?
Alphadingo: No idea. Makes sense, though?
Kate: There you go again!!!
“I was saying one thing; but I was really thinking something else completely.”
It’s about time I switched blog hosts. But despite the fact that it’s easily possible, I’m not transferring my old blog posts. I’m sorry if any of you liked the kind of blog I was working out before; but it’s not actually what I initially planned to do. I’m starting fresh with this blog. “Drawing something new in the fog of the bathroom mirror.”
